You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.  Browse our FAQs for the questions we get the most- and drop us a line if you don’t see your question answered here.

What are the ID requirements for flying?

Your first, middle (if applicable), and last name that you provide us must match the ID you plan to use at the airport.  Travelers 18 years and older must use a government-issued photo ID.  Examples include driver’s licenses, state IDs, and passports.  Travelers ages 14-17 can use any photo ID, including the previous examples or a school-issued photo ID.  Travelers ages 13 and younger do not need a photo ID to fly.  If you’re traveling on a government-issued photo ID, make sure it’s not expiring soon (trust us on this, it’s not worth the headache)!

What should I pack?!

Are you the type to wear the same pair of jeans three days in a row but then you pack your entire closet for a 3-day trip?  So are we.  That’s why we’ve put together a recommended packing list for you, which you can view by clicking here.  Pack light and save the baggage fee money for souvenirs!

What are your standard inclusions?

You get more bang for your buck with us!  We build in a dedicated tour manager, nightly hotel security guard (chaperones – imagine being able to SLEEP on these trips!), a two million dollar liability insurance policy, name badges with emergency phone numbers and mini-itineraries, basic traveler’s insurance (purchased on behalf of the traveler) to cover medical expenses and trip delays, and complimentary trip packages for directors and teachers.

Wait, what’s a tour manager?

Your Green Light tour manager will be with you 24/7 to make sure your trip runs smoothly and is stress free!  They will get you from point A to point B, stay in the same hotel, and can even help your students craft some travel-inspired Snapchat stories.

What is Trip Cancellation Protection?

Life happens and sometimes plans change.  We get it, which is why we offer an optional Trip Cancellation Protection (TCP) plan.  You can choose to protect your travel deposits from life’s unforeseen circumstances right up until the day of departure to get 100% of your money back.  The cost of TCP depends on the total cost of your trip.  For details, reach out to your group leader or tour coordinator.

How do I book my group’s trip?

You’ve come to the right place!  Click the “Request a Quote” button to tell us about the trip you’d love to take, and we’ll put together a trip that’s great for your group.  You can also reach us by phone or email (we’re still working on those carrier pigeons).

Can I add or remove things from my group’s itinerary?

Absolutely.  Our trips are fully customizable.  After you receive your initial quote, chat with your tour coordinator to create a trip that’s best for your group!

How do I register for an existing trip?

Please click here to register.  You’ll need to get your unique trip code from your group leader to complete registration.

Can you accommodate various medical dietary restrictions?

Sure can!  When travelers register for a trip, there is a section where they tell us their dietary restrictions and we make sure they have something to eat.  We don’t want anyone to go hungry on the road!

Why Green Light?

Because green means go!  We want you and your group to go experience new places and new people.  We genuinely believe traveling makes you a better person, and we want to make sure you have the best possible experience on your trip.  We have you stay in hotels we actually stay in and eat in restaurants we actually eat in (no offense to that roadside motel you may have stayed in with your group before).  Whether you are performing in a festival, visiting monuments, going shopping, or lounging on the beach, we handle all the small details- including the ones you haven’t even thought of yet!  We make sure you can focus on what’s important- your group traveling and experiencing new things together, all while having a ton of fun!
